On Saturday afternoon, a group of crafty ladies got together for a Halloween/Autumn/Winter-themed Shoebox Swap. I had so much fun, and as always, I was totally impressed and inspired by the designs that were brought to the table. I always learn at least a couple of cool new tricks or techniques when I get together with this group... awesome!
Here's a photo of all of the nine projects, made by (clockwise from top left) Amy, Kerry, Andrea, Kathy, Danielle, Liz, Wanda, Laura, and Emily (center).
Here's a close-up of the front of my card. I stamped the Memory Box image with black ColorBox pigment ink and embossed with clear powder. I colored in the spiders' bodies with a Basic Black Stampin' Write marker, then glazed them with Glossy Accents. And that ribbon -- forget about it! I grabbed it at Ink About It on Friday afternoon and it was just perfect!
And here's the inside of my card. I stamped the spider (Memory Box) with A Muse black dye ink and colored with a Spica Pen in pitch black. That border punch is by Martha Stewart. Isn't it awesome?!
