I wanted to share another card design that was inspired by the a•muse | studio July spotlight! I used images from the "Tini Time" and "Swanky Backgrounds" sets (both 10% off through the end of the day August 14th) and colors (with the exception of French Roast) from the exclusive, limited-edition Sorbet paper pack ($7.65 for 20 sheets; item #PAST711 if you're searching for it on the webstore).
I stamped the background stamp (from "Swanky Backgrounds") all over the lichen paper with the coordinating lichen ink -- you can hardly tell in the photo, but the result is a very cool-but-subtle pattern on the paper that gives the whole design a little more oomph. For the martinis, I stamped the liquid with lichen (I personally like my martinis "filthy" (that's how I order them) -- and how I miss them right now! -- so they always have a greenish tint from all of that delicious olive brine), and the olives with sage. I colored in each pimiento with Copic YR07/Cadmium Orange, then blinged it out a bit with Stickles in orange peel. (The Copic base really made the pimientos more vibrant -- the first try used only Stickles and it just wasn't orange enough.)
I liked this particular design because it's one of those all-purpose, good for anyone (well, except for a teetotaller!), anytime, guy or gal kind of cards, with a neutral sentiment and a muted color scheme.
Hey, have a martini for me, ok? But be careful... three and you really will hit the floor, especially the way my Ben likes to mix them!

For you, I'll have a martini anytime. Cute card!!

Am away from my martini shaker right now but will have one as soon as I can. Just for you! Fab card!

How fun is the subtle background that you did? I love how the olives pop and personally, I love olives. We can have martinis later this fall.
