Friday Night Stampers: THIS Friday, 8/5!
First of all, I wanted to remind you about the a•muse | studio Friday Night Stampers taking place THIS Friday, August 5th from 7:00-9:30pm at my Arlington home! Complete details can be found here (but scroll down a little). Remember, you do need to RSVP to me at least 24 hours in advance so I can prep materials for you (and be sure to tell you my address). If you know you're coming and haven't yet told me, you can email me -- or, if you are a fan of my Facebook page (and if you aren't, what's holding you back? :), you can add your response to the "Events" section. I also wanted to share with you one more design I made that was inspired by the a|s "Neighborhood Block Party" spotlight:
For this card I used images from the "Graphic Sunflower" set, and papers and inks in sage, watermelon, and buttercup. The tags were made using the Nestabilities "Labels Eight" set. I liked how this card kind of looked like a cool, retro, colorful nametag -- not my vision when creating this design, but definitely a pleasing result. AND, since few cards are complete without sparkle, the center of each flower got a dab of Quickie glue pen, followed by a dusting of diamond glitter. Enjoy!
