I'm stopping by this evening to share a Halloween design I made using some of the great new products featured in the 2011 Holiday Catalog & Inspiration Guide!
I love Halloween, and I love this witch! These images are from the "Creepy Hollow" set, which has quickly become one of my all-time favorites.
To make the witch -- and how I wish this photo captured the embossed detail -- I stamped the image in VersaMark (after rubbing my Static Magic pouch all over the Orange cardstock), then topped it with the *fabulous* and super-fine a|s Onyx embossing powder and zapped it with a heat tool. It looks AMAZING... I wish you could see it better.
I mounted the Orange circle to a slightly larger Onyx Solid Shimmer circle. (I used dies from both the Nestabilities Small & Large Standard Circles sets to get that 1/8" offset). I cut a piece of the awesome Sleepy Hollow cardstock to 4.25" square size and ran some Onyx sheer organdy ribbon along the side. I chose to stamp the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx. And, as a final detail, I used the Bat Trio die with Onyx Solid Shimmer cardstock and mounted them up on the corner.
Understated, elegant, and decidedly creepy indeed!

Love the background and the layout! Great work.

This is a great card!!! LOVE those bats! The "ghostly" ribbon really works, too!
