Ah, I meant to post this design days ago, but life has been awfully hectic lately and the days keep getting away from me! Here is an a•muse | studio design using a bunch of great products from -- you guessed it! -- the 2011 Holiday Catalog & Inspiration Guide!
I made the card base using the beautiful Woodgrain cardstock in Cherry, and used Vanilla and Fern cardstock with the Nestabilities Labels Four set to get the beautiful die cuts. I stamped the image (from the "Vintage Holiday Greetings" set) in Fern ink and then used a sponge dauber with Cherry ink to add color to the edges of the Vanilla paper.
The I spritzed the Vanilla paper with Stardust Finishing Spray. Now, the shimmer is not captured at all in this photo but you must believe me... the result is gorgeous. Stunning. Seriously! Shake the bottle side to side (not up and down) and spritz 6-8 inches away from your paper for amazing results... noticeable shimmer that is also subtle and elegant. The level of shimmer is very similar to that of the a|s Shimmer Couture Solid & Damask papers. Being a fan of sparkle and bling, I am most pleased to have another shimmery alternative in my crafty stash!
Anyway, back to the card design... for finishing touches, I used two Cherry Dot Twinkle Stickers on the stamped image, and also a bit of Fern ribbon.

My bottle of Shimmer Spritz arrived on Tuesday. I love how the irridescent/interference qualities of it depending on the light and how you hold it. I hope they come out with a warm goldish hue too.
