I don't get in much crafting time these days, but today I thought I'd share three rather random designs I've come up with over the past several months. I'm not particularly proud of any of them, and yet I feel compelled to post them to this blog. ;-)
I made this card for the very last shoebox swap held at Ink About It, the best local stamping & scrapbooking store of all time. The images are from an adorable set by Avery Elle, called "Hipster-Potamus." There are some adorable additional images in the set, as well. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with various Copics, adding some Stickles to the bird for a little sparkle. The card base is Memory Box and the argyle paper is (long-retired) Stampin' Up! White and brown papers by A Muse Studio.
I made this card -- hard to see in this photo, I know -- for a dear crafty friend of mine. Papers and (colored) inks by Stampin' Up! I used VersaMark to watermark stamp the envelope, and used Memento Tuxedo Black as well. All images are from the awesome set, "Card-Exchanging Friends," by Simon Says Stamp! There's a little dash of neon pink Stickles on the heart, too.
And finally, I made this card for a small group of my dearest crafty ladies, using the "Color and Sunshine" set by Simon Says Stamp! I used all six of Hero Arts' neon ink pads, which was a heavenly exercise in and of itself... and broke out Lawn Fawn's neon bling, too. A super simple single-layer card.
