These past couple of months, my mother (who lives in New Jersey) has gotten such a kick out of watching all of the birds in my parents' backyard. There are many different kind of birds that spend time in my parents' lawn and on their deck, but I know that my mother is especially fond of the catbirds who hang around.
My parents had a makeshift birdbath on their deck, and so many birds were flocking to it that my parents decided to buy another birdbath. These birdbaths have become quite the social hotspots, and when my mother is home during the day, she really enjoys seeing all of the birds interact with each other.
Not only did my mother's cute and funny stories about the birds and birdbaths inspire Ben and me to buy a birdbath for our own backyard, but they also inspired me to make a very cute card for her!
All of the papers and stamps I used are from A Muse Art Stamps. I used Copic and Le Plume II markers to color in the birds, branch, and birdbath. I also used Memento ink in Tuxedo Black, Versamark, clear embossing powder, and Stickles in Diamond.
