I did manage to find some time to crank out some Valentines this year. None of them ended up being particularly fancy AT ALL, but they did end up being cute... and that was quite enough for me this time around.
I made these first two designs for John's daycare friends -- including toddlers and teachers. I found this awesome A Muse Artstamps acrylic stamp set that was just so perfect for the kiddie cards!
All papers are by A Muse. I stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and accented the sheep with several Copics (I think BG10, E21 and E33). An A Muse twinkle heart sticker was the sole touch of bling.
Papers are from A Muse, as is the brown washi tape. I used Copics E33, YG17, YG23 & R29. A wee bit of Stickles (in Xmas Red) added a touch of sparkle.
For this card (which was my favorite of all) I broke out all kinds of vintage A Muse stuff, including the images and the notecard. The ribbon and heart twinkle are also from A Muse. I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I'm blanking on which Copic I used to color the airplane -- maybe W4? And again, the Xmas Red Stickles added a bit of bling.
This design also uses some vintage A Muse products, including the images and the card base. I used Memento Tuxedo Black, and used a Copic in BG10 to give the bunny a little dimension. Again, those Xmas Red Stickles came to the rescue by adding a bit of sparkle. Ribbon is by A Muse.
The colors of this card are not captured so well in this photo, but what can you do. ;-) Papers are by A Muse and Stampin' Up! I think I used Copic E21 to color the monkey. Image is by Rubber Soul, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa. I used a Quickie Glue Pen with some ultrafine glitter to add a bit of sparkle to the sentiment. I picked up the washi at Ink About It -- maybe by Trendy Tape?
This design sure is similar to another one in this post, right? ;-) Again, vintage A Muse images stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black AND in Love Letter. A Copic BG10 added a little dimension to the cup. Embellishments (ribbon and heart twinkle) are by A Muse.
And last but not least, here's a design I made using the Bee Mine stamp set from Lawn Fawn. How I love that set! In retrospect, I find this design to be slightly too busy -- I think I'd only do one or many two flowers if I were to do it over again, but it's too late for that now. ;-) This set was so cute and I just went a little crazy! All inks are by Memento, and wouldn't you know it, there are those Xmas Red Stickles making another appearance, as is an A Muse heart twinkle.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you had a very happy Love Day!
