How I love Valentine's Day, and how I love all of the adorable Lawn Fawn images...!
This is the card I made for all of my sweet son's daycare friends and teachers. The sentiment, inside, says "I've gone bananas for you!" I just can't take how adorable these Lawn Fawn images are! I stamped the banana trio in Memento tuxedo black, and then colored them in with two shades of Copics (I think pale yellow and yellow). The tops of the bananas -- you really can't see this in the picture -- but they are shimmery thanks to a clear Wink of Stella pen. Solid papers are by A Muse. Patterned paper and twine are by Doodlebug Designs.
Again, I was delighted to use a couple of Lawn Fawn images -- the sentiment, inside, says, "You knock my socks off!" This card, made for friends and family, could not have been more simple. All papers are by A Muse. Doily is by Doodlebug Designs. Scalloped circles are cut with Nestibilities dies. I stamped the socks in Memento tuxedo black, added a bit of dimension with my Copic cool shadow, and then used Liquid Pearls in ruby to jazz up the hearts on the socks. The Liquid Pearls hardly cooperated with me -- I had such a hard time controlling its flow. It all worked out in the end, but sheesh! A little stressful.
This design, though, was my favorite -- I made a small batch for some very crafty friends and a very small group of colleagues. Again, I used adorable images from Lawn Fawn. The card base is by A Muse, and the patterned paper is by Doodlebug Designs. I used a Stampin' Up! border punch. All images are stamped with Memento tuxedo black. I colored the pan, egg, and bacon strips with Copic markers, and then fussy-cut it out. It was a labor of love. But wait, the best part of all was the egg.
The egg looks glossy -- truly "sunny side up!" -- thanks to a bit of Glossy Accents! I just loved how this turned out. In truth, it tickled me pink. I just had to share. ;-)
I love mine! All the others are great, too!
